3-Year-Old Boy Slapped By Teacher Gets Scholarship to University Level, two-bedroom flat
The 3-year-old Pupil was slapped repeatedly by his teacher at an Ikorodu, Lagos Nursery School. Now, out of the ashes of that sad incident, some good things are emerging for the kid.
Gidi Real Estate Limited in Lagos has given Abayomi Michael a scholarship to the University level, a two-bedroom flat for his family and one million naira to take care of his immediate needs.
The firm said it took into consideration the fact that the mother is a widow and a cleaner in the same school where the assault took place before deciding to sponsor Michael’s education from primary to University level saying it hoped that the gesture would spur little Michael to greater heights.
The Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development and its Commissioner, Mobolaji Ogunlende, organized the ceremony where the Agreement between the Firm and the family was formalised on Thursday, January 16, 2025.
