IMMEDIATE past Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, has commiserated with a former Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General of Edo State, Barrister Henry Idahagbon, on the death of his father, Pa William Idahagbon at 86.
Agba said the loss of a father, at any age, was always devastating for children who took care of and honoured their fathers during their life and times.
He noted that Pa William Idahagbon, the odionwere of Ikoro village in Ovia North East Local Government area of Edo state, served the nation meritoriously in the Nigerian army and later at the University of Benin.
Agba said with the close relationship that Barrister Idahagbon had with his father, he realised how deep his [Henry’s] pains would be on the irreplaceable loss.
Agba urged Idahagbon to stay strong and rally his siblings to preserve the legacy of their patriarch.
He prayed that the Almighty God would comfort the Idahagbons and grant the soul of their patriarch a peaceful repose in the Bosom of the Almighty God.
