ONCE upon a time, Kano was a mother to the so many innovations be in a civil service, science and technology, water management, and even of the recent issue like urban beautifications not only in northern parts of the country, but in other regions.
Alas! It is now becoming a state full of its enemies, that are working tirelessly towards tarnishing its over 1000 years image and that of its ideal and innovative citizens.
In the recent time, one blogger in the name of Dan-Bello of Galadanchi Kano, a respected and old settlement in the ancient city. Posted an allegations on one of the respected politician in Kano Murtala Sule Garo.
One of the issue in the said Facebook and Tiktok post by Dan Bello, that catches the attention of great poeple of Kano is the allegation that Murtala have a share in one of the expensive hotel in the in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Hilton hotel, Dan Bello said Murtala has a share in worth over 11b US dollar, which of course is over what the richest man in Africa worth. That is the lie number one.. The whole budget of Kano, in 20 years to come will not buy.
The weighty to ignore allegation of Dan-Bello even in a holy scripture that all Muslims believe in is forbidden, those of that character if not repent will be coursed by the God of the scriptures.
And this illicit acts of our younger ones, are putting the State at risk of loosing its hard earned reputation, it’s citizens will be a laughing stock among the sister state.
I wish our teaming youth will channel thier talents towards boosting the state untapped resources, decline form this act of blackmail.
Dan Bello and Co should know that Murtala Sule Garo has been in politics for over two decades, yet no any anyi corruption agency find him guilty of any financial misappropriation.
You can’t hide under the shadow of asylum, or looking for greener pasture to be used as stooge for creating unnecessary arguments, and black listing other people’s reputation.
We have no place like Kano. Kano is our Mecca, and no place like it.
