*Comrade Erasmus Ikhide’s response to President Tinubu’s sane-gloating emptiness on the day of redemption (June 12)
President Tinubu’s comments on the disarray of opposition parties seem tone-deaf, given the pressing issues Nigeria faces. Instead of focusing on political opponents, shouldn’t the administration prioritize addressing the existential threats posed by Boko Haram, ISWAP, and Fulani Jihadism terrorists?
The current state of the economy, security paralysis, power outages, and dollarization concerns warrant urgent attention. Citizens expect leadership that tackles these challenges, not gloating over perceived political gains.
Perhaps it’s time for a renewed focus on collaborative governance, national security, and economic revitalization. The Nigerian people deserve effective leadership that prioritizes their well-being and the country’s progress.
