Nigerian Woman Arrested in Pakistan Over Student Drug Trafficking Ring

Pakistan’s Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has busted a drug trafficking network allegedly targeting students in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, following the arrest of a Nigerian woman accused of dealing cocaine.

The suspect, identified as Wasilat Amusa, also known as Alaba, was reportedly caught in the act while selling drugs from a flat in Sector H-13 of the federal capital. Authorities recovered about 180 grams of cocaine from the apartment, alongside her Lagos-issued passport.

According to the ANF spokesman, investigations revealed that Amusa was supplying drugs to students of an educational institute, raising concerns over how international cartels exploit Nigerian nationals for trafficking. Her arrest comes as part of ongoing operations against cross-border drug networks, with several other Nigerians already in custody.

The ANF has since registered a case and launched a full investigation, vowing to dismantle the entire network and curb the spread of drugs among young people in Pakistan.
