“Dangote Is a Disappointment to Nigeria” — Pastor Odumeje Blasts Africa’s Richest Man

Controversial pastor, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has taken a swipe at Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, accusing him of failing Nigerians despite his wealth and influence.

Speaking passionately, Odumeje said that God is displeased with Dangote, claiming the billionaire has not done enough to improve the lives of Nigerians who rely heavily on his products. According to him, the much-celebrated refinery has not reduced fuel prices but instead worsened the burden on ordinary citizens.

In his words:
“That’s why I tell Dangote, come and see me. If you do not come, your refinery will remain a problem. I ask God, why is this happening? Because he has never done anything for the entire Nigeria that consumes his products. For him to answer ‘richest man in Africa’ is a disappointment to Nigeria. Even that refinery, did it bring fuel price down? Instead, it increased more. That is the anger of God. If it does not change, then God is not happy with you.”

Odumeje’s outburst has sparked reactions, with many Nigerians divided — some agreeing with his criticism, while others believe Dangote’s investments are still crucial for the country’s economy.
