Sowore Knocks Tinubu: “Audacity To Lie Shamelessly” Over No-Corruption Claim

Human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, has openly mocked President Bola Tinubu after his controversial statement in Brazil.

At a meeting with Brazilian investors on Monday, Tinubu boasted that his administration has completely wiped out corruption in Nigeria, insisting that ongoing economic reforms are yielding real results.

“It’s getting clearer to the people. We have more money for the economy, and no more corruption,” Tinubu declared.

But his remark has sparked backlash among Nigerians, many of whom strongly disagreed with his claim.

Sowore, reacting through his official Facebook page on Tuesday, shared a video clip of the president’s speech and blasted him for what he called a shameless lie.

“This criminal actually went to Brazil to state that there is NO MORE corruption under his regime in Nigeria. What audacity to lie shamelessly!” Sowore wrote.
