Odumeru Ameerah, a determined nursing student, has turned adversity into triumph. After being diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in March 2022, Ameerah had to defer her studies for four semesters. Yet, she refused to let the illness define her journey. With sheer resilience, she returned to Lagos State University (LASU), completed her program, and graduated with a first-class degree in Nursing.
Her accomplishments didn’t end there. Ameerah went on to take the Nursing Professional Examination and emerged as the best candidate nationwide, earning recognition as one of the top performers in the country. Her story is a testament to perseverance, courage, and unwavering focus.
