Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami has finally spoken publicly following the heartbreaking death of his close associate and mentor, actress Allwell Ademola. The actress reportedly died of a heart attack on Saturday, December 27, 2025, leaving colleagues, fans, and loved ones in deep shock.
Since the news broke, many Nigerians had flooded Rotimi Salami’s social media pages with messages of concern, prayers, and encouragement, worried about how deeply affected he might be by the loss. The two were known to share a close bond, both professionally and personally.
In an emotional Instagram post that quickly went viral, Salami admitted that he is far from okay and pleaded with the public not to try to console him when they see him. According to him, any attempt at comfort might cause him to completely break down, as the pain is still too raw.
He revealed that days of constant tears have not eased the loss, but said he is trying to stay strong for his family, friends, fans, and especially his children, who will now have to learn how to move on without Allwell Ademola. Salami also thanked everyone who has reached out with prayers, calls, and messages, explaining that he is currently too weak to respond, even though he deeply appreciates the love and concern.
