Nigeria Has Fail From All Fronts,  Revert To Parliamentary System – Aminu Dantata

ONE of the richest Nigerians and Chairman of many conglomerates Alhaji Aminu Dantata has said Nigeria had fail from all dimension and that the Country has to drop the Presidential system and work with Paliamentary for her survive her Socio Economic and other  challenges .
Dantata who is a true Nigerian and a Pragmatic  Northerner by heart  has asked the Northern Elders Forum a body that is fighting for the region at all fronts to come together and salvage the Country especially the North that is embroiled in a numerous Insecurity challenges.
Receiving the Northern Elders Forum led by Professor Ango Abdullahi and others who were on a condolence visit to Kano over the death of Alhaji  Bashir Tofa, Dantata, said it was clear that the Presidential system of government had failed Nigeria.
He said, “you will agree with me that the Presidential system of government has failed the Nation. What we need now is a Parliamentary system, because the one we are practicing now  is too cumbersome and financially tasking.
Aminu Dantata also called on the  attention of the Forum members  to the decadence in the family system, leading to lack of honesty, corruption and general insecurities.
“I think today’s values have gone down so low. People consider money more than our core values system and that is why many negative things are happening in the Country which requires the elders attention”.
Dantata expressed dismay  over the frequent drops in values of the Nigerian currency, explaining that today the  Naira has nearly become valueless in the global markets. “You can see that the rise in prices has everything to do with the devaluing of the Naira”.
“Nigeria needs desperate measures to tackle this ugly scenario, because poverty is slowly gaining ground amongst the poorest while those that are trying are getting frustrated by the day”.
Dantata also called on Nigerian politicians to do away with destructive criticism as has been obtained in the nation’s political cycle, “we are going nowhere with the kind of politics we are seeing  today, we must change the narrative if we are to salvage the nation polity”.
Speaking, Professor Ango Abdullahi, noted that they were in Kano to condole the people’s and government of the state over the demise of Bashir Tofa, Dr Ibrahim Datti Ahmad, Sani Dangote and Ado Gwaram former SSG who have just passed away. And prayed  for the repose of their souls.
