The Association of Fairly Used Items (Pantaker) in Abuja has appeal to the administration of the Federal Capital Territory for a land allocation which will serve as a permanent site to conduct its business.

The appeal was made on Tuesday in Abuja, by the Chairman of the Association Alh. Auwal Adamu following submission of their request to the Honourable Minister, Barr Nyesom Wike.

Adamu, said that the Association which was duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission since 2008 with over 5,000 members are currently temporarily operating in Utako Motor Park.

we spent another 9 years, we were again relocated to Jabi Park, Utako in 2003.

“In 2022 most of the places we occupied were demolished that led to a colossal lost of most of our businesses without any compensation and leaving majority of our members stranded with out a definite place of business in the FCT.

He added that the Association is capable of generating 300% revenue to the FCT in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu administration’s drive of generating revenue for the federal government.

He further said that the allocation of the permanent site will also create thousands of direct and indirect jobs
among the youths thereby contributing to the administration’s efforts in ensuring a crime free and peaceful Federal Capital Territory.

The Association congratulates the present administration of Barr Niesom Wike for the wonderful work it is doing in providing infrastructural development for the Federal Capital Territory and assured its support to the administration to achieve its sets objectives. End
