Activist Scott Igumma Blasts Lagos Govt Over Oxygen Bus and Bad Hospital Road

Nigerian activist, Scott Igumma, has taken a swipe at the Lagos State government, lamenting the poor state of healthcare delivery in the state. In a video shared on September 13, Scott drew attention to a state-owned bus being used to transport oxygen to government hospitals.

He described the bus as rickety and unfit, questioning how a state like Lagos could rely on such a vehicle for something as critical as medical oxygen supply. Scott also expressed doubt about the roadworthiness of the bus, noting that if its body looked so run-down, the engine might be in even worse condition.

Beyond the oxygen bus, Scott also called out the deplorable road leading to the Mother and Child Hospital in Ogombo. According to him, the terrible state of the road worsens traffic, creating dangerous delays that could cost the lives of pregnant women and their babies in emergencies.

His message adds to growing concerns about the condition of healthcare facilities and infrastructure in Lagos, urging the government to prioritize the lives of its citizens over negligence.
