Angola to Host 2025 US-Africa Business Summit

ANGOLA has been confirmed as the host of the 2025 US-Africa Business Summit after signing a Memorandum of Agreement with the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) in Washington, DC The agreement, signed by Angola’s Ambassador Agostinho Van-Dunem and CCA President Florie Liser (pictured) , underscores Angola’s increasing role in fostering US-Africa trade relations.

Set to coincide with Angola’s 50th independence anniversary and its tenure as Chair of the African Union, the summit positions Angola at the centre of efforts to promote economic partnerships across the continent. Hosting this major event not only reflects Angola’s commitment to deepening ties with the United States but also highlights the country’s growing influence in key sectors such as energy, infrastructure, health, and the digital economy.

The 2025 US-Africa Business Summit will provide a platform for advancing trade, investment, and business collaborations between Africa and the United States.
