APC Chair, Dalori Donates ₦10 Million, Other Palliatives to Wanori, Nguluri Fire Victims in Borno

FOLLOWING the devastated fire outbreak which has displaced hundreds of people in Wanori and Nguluri communities of Konduga local government area of Borno state, the Deputy National Chairman (DNC), North of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori has provided financial donation of N10 million cash and other palliatives to the victims.

Recall that the fire incident which erupted last Sunday 6th April, 2025 in Wanori and Nguluri communities claimed two lives, scores of domestic animals, foodstuffs and completely razed over 90% of residential buildings mostly owned by Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) who had resettled back to their ancestral homes during the post-insurgency period.

In a heartfelt condolences while addressing the victims in the affected communities, Hon, Dalori who is also the Chairman Governing Board, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi, Anambra State, said his personal
gesture is expected to bring succor to the victims and their families, who have been affected by the tragic incident.

Dalori who hails from Konduga local government area commended Borno State Government under the leadership of Governor Babagana Zulum, and all other philantrophic individuals and organisations who have contributed in one way or the other by providing immediate and short term relief items, and temporary shelter to the victims.

“We are here to sympathise with you over the unfortunate fire incident. May the Souls of the departed Rest In Jannatul Firdaus, and may Allah grant the injured one’s quick recovery.

“This my personal gesture of N10 million and other support is expected to bring succor to the victims and their families, who have been affected by the tragic incident.

“I also commend Borno State Government under the leadership of Governor Babagana Zulum, and all other philanthropic individuals and organisations who have contributed in one way or the other by providing immediate and short term relief items, and temporary shelter to the victims” The APC Boss stated.

Dalori who was accompanied during the sympathy visit by retinue of party faithfuls and some government officials, revealed that the visit underscores the APC’s commitment to supporting communities in Borno State which hitherto experienced unabated devastation by the Boko Haram elements for over a decade.

He prayed Allah to forestall future occurence of any natural or artificial disaster, even as he enjoined the people of the area to be careful in handling or using fire as a source of power or energy for domestic purposes.
