“APC Is Like Cancer at Stage 4” — Sule Lamido Blasts Tinubu-Led Government

Sule Lamido, former Governor of Jigawa State and a key figure in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), didn’t mince words when he described the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a “stage 4 cancer” threatening Nigeria’s political and economic wellbeing.

Speaking during an interview on Arise News TV, Lamido launched a scathing critique of the ruling party, reflecting on its 10 years in power—especially under former President Muhammadu Buhari. He called for the total removal of the APC, saying, “APC is our problem. We must remove that corruption, which has become a cancer in Nigeria. And it has to be excised out.”

But his criticism didn’t stop at Buhari. Lamido also took aim at the current administration led by President Bola Tinubu. He argued that the issue isn’t just about individual leaders—it’s the party itself. “If Tinubu is Buhari, they’re all APC. Never vote for them because it’s a failure of the party and party leaders of Nigeria. It’s not about Tinubu. It’s about APC,” he said.

Lamido’s bold remarks are resonating with many Nigerians who are growing increasingly frustrated with the current state of governance. For him, the APC has failed to deliver on its promises, and now is the time for Nigerians to unite and push for real political change.

So far, the APC has remained silent in response to Lamido’s fiery statements. But one thing is clear: the call for political accountability is growing louder—and Lamido’s voice has only added fuel to that fire.
