Interim National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has taken a swipe at Nigeria’s major political parties — the All Progressives Congress (APC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Labour Party (LP) — accusing them of failing Nigerians.
Speaking during a mass membership drive in Lagos State, the former Minister of Interior urged citizens to rally behind the ADC ahead of the 2027 general elections, promising that the party would “reset Nigeria” and offer a new path to progress.
Aregbesola, who visited Kosofe Local Government Area on Monday alongside ADC influencer Funmi Onita-Coker, called on members to intensify grassroots mobilisation. “Go out and spread the gospel of the ADC,” he told supporters. “Let Nigerians know a new vista of hope and opportunity awaits them in our party.”
He urged Nigerians to not only vote in 2027 but also “protect their votes through follow-up vigilance,” stressing that the ADC was ready to deliver development and genuine progress where other parties had failed.
