“Babangida’s Journey In Service” And The Manifestation Of Elite Conspiracy Against Nigerian People

Few days ago, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida unveiled what he called ” A Journey In Service”, his memoir.

The reason why Nigerian press dubbed him “maradona”, manifested when he said amongst other things, that Moshood Abiola won the 1993 presidential elections, when most of the tragic dramatic players at that time are no longer around to challenge him.

Babangida’s cawordistic postulations reminds me of an era of unprecedented horror; a terrible reminder of one of the worst political savageries in Nigerian history, which gave birth to Sani Abacha’s insanity when l became Chairman, Committee for Defense of Human Rights (CDHR) Edo State in 1995…

Babangida invaded us without mercy; dealt a most devastating blow to our national psyche; he reduced Nigerian people to broken objects; his every movement was like a ruthless knife that ripped us apart; the man perfected senseless tragedies…

For the likes of President Bola Tinubu, the Dangotes, and other criminals who have been stealing our commonwealth blind, to be applauding such a devious character, considered as one of the worst rulers in Nigerian history, whose reign over Nigeria was characterized by cold blooded tactics, mindless brutality and tyranny, simply revealed the fact that: elite conspiracy against us is real and potent.

That a mega coward that supposed to be stoned on the streets of Nigeria, because of his grandiose betrayal is being celebrated is a slap on the faces of Nigerian patriots…

A hundred years is not for ever!

We must practicalize the doctrine of grabbing power from the elite conspirators in Nigeria by any means necessary…
