Big Brother Naija housemate, Mide, has openly declared that she has no regrets about finding love in the house, even though her love interest, Bright Morgan, had a relationship outside before joining the show.
Mide’s emotional revelation came during her Sunday diary session, barely 24 hours after Morgan’s unexpected eviction. She explained that her connection with him felt natural, admitting she never imagined she would fall in love on national TV.
“I never thought I would fall for someone on national TV, and it happened so naturally. I am not ashamed about it. I learnt a lot. I don’t feel like I have any unfinished business,” Mide told Big Brother, holding back tears.
Her love story has been one of the most talked-about in the house, especially since she had initially vowed never to kiss or get intimate on the show out of respect for her family. But as the weeks rolled on, her bond with Bright Morgan deepened and she eventually compromised.
The heartbreak came on Saturday night during the Turnup when Ebuka announced Morgan’s eviction. Mide broke down in tears, struggling to process his sudden exit.
Fellow housemates Dede and Kola rallied around her, urging her to stay strong. They reminded her that she has just about two weeks left in the house before she can reunite with Morgan outside and figure out the future of their relationship.
