IMMEDIATE-past Minister of State for Budget and National Planning,Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, had been nominated to receive the ‘Midwest Achiever’s Award for Legacy of Transformative Leadership and Outstanding Performance’.

It was via a press statement, issued by Hon. Orobosa Omo-Ojo, Founder/Editor-in- Chief of the Midwest Herald Newspaper, the notable media house, that is organiser of the event.
Hon Omo-Ojo, also a former Special Adviser on Arts, Culture and Tourism, and Commissioner for Transport, respectively to Edo State, stated that others to be similarly honoured include current Minister for Aviation and Aerospace Development, Olorogun Festus Keyamo; former Deputy Governor of Edo State, Rt. Hon Phillip Shaibu and Senator Neda Imasuen, representative of Edo South District in the Senate, Abuja.
The ceremony has Edo State governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, as a key guest and Prof Mike Ozekhome, SAN, legal luminaire and prolific author, is to present an investiture lecture on ‘Democracy, Development and Nigerians”.
Obviously, the annual award event, which had featured key achievers from the Nigerian Delta region and the country at large, has made Prince Clem Agba a 2024 recipient, in view of his useful public-oriented projects around the country, as ex-minister and a two-times former Commissioner for Environment and Ministry of Lands and Survey, in Edo State.
The one-day event is holding at Cathelia Event Centre, 2 Ayanyo Omoigui Street, Oko Central Road, Off 2nd Ugbor Street, GRA, Benin City, on Wednesday 12 March, 2025 at 10:00 am.
