Dangote Cement Plc has rewarded its top distributors and customers with prizes valued at ₦15 billion in appreciation of their loyalty, resilience and outstanding performance across the country.
The rewards were presented at the 2026 Distributors’ Awards Night held in Lagos, where the company celebrated its highest-performing partners under the theme “Partner for Growth.” Winners went home with a mix of cash prizes, containers of cement, luxury SUVs and CNG-powered trucks, all collectively valued at ₦15 billion.
Speaking at the event, President and Chief Executive of Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote, described distributors as the heartbeat of the organisation, praising their dedication to ensuring Dangote products reach communities nationwide.
According to him, the tireless efforts of distributors, their strong commitment to the brand and direct engagement with customers are what turn the company’s vision into tangible results. He noted that the 2026 awards theme reflects the company’s confidence that its growth journey for the new year has already begun.
Dangote used the occasion to reaffirm the Group’s Vision 2030 strategy, which aims to transform Dangote Group into a $100 billion enterprise by 2030. He explained that the strategy is anchored on industrial expansion, cross-border investments and building Africa’s self-sufficiency in key sectors such as energy, manufacturing and infrastructure.
The business mogul disclosed that Dangote Cement Group is targeting an expansion of its production capacity to about 90 million tonnes by 2030. He stressed that the ambition goes beyond factory expansion, noting that the broader goal is to build Africa’s capacity to feed itself, power its economy, develop its people and drive sustainable industrialisation.
He also revealed plans under Vision 2030 to expand the Dangote Petroleum Refinery from 650,000 barrels per day to 1.4 million barrels per day, scale up the fertiliser plant to 12 million metric tonnes per annum, and increase output at the polypropylene plant.
Dangote described Vision 2030 as a core part of the Group’s Africa First agenda, saying it was inspired by the belief that Africa’s future would be built by Africans who dare to dream big, work hard and refuse to accept limitations.
