FEDERAL Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has organized prayer section for June 16th, 23rd, and the 30th, and 2025 to force the hands of God to feed the over 200 million Nigerians.
In a circular dated 11th of June 2025, signed on behalf of the minister by Adebayo Modupe O. (Mrs.) Director Human Resource Management urged all staff of the minister to attend the prayer session to “Please kindly come fasting on Monday 16th, 23rd and 30th June, 2025”.
“This is to invite all staff of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security to a solem prayer session for God’s guidance and success in supporting the government’s efforts to achieve food security”.
The prayer session is tittle: divine intervention for protection and national development.
A staff member of the Ministry, Mr. Said Usman who’s angered by the strange development, decry absence of creativity and lack of patriotism on the part of the minister and the top management staff.
“Failure of governance and citizenry to call on God to do for us what he has empowered us to do for ourselves is a disgraceful way to mock Him”.
“Israel does not seek divine intervention for protection and development, they plan and act to achieve it. So does Saudi Arabia, and both countries are the precursor of our official religions”, Usman told Standarddailypress.com.
