Dr. Oluwatoyin Olubukola Rahman, wife of Lagos APC spokesperson Seye Oladejo, has openly sympathised with Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, who is currently entangled in a public dispute with her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, following the arrest of her brother, Sammy West.
The couple’s marriage has recently faced serious allegations involving domestic violence, harassment, and drug use — claims that Senator Nwoko has strongly denied, accusing Regina and her siblings of substance abuse instead.
The situation became more emotional when Regina appeared in tears on social media, lamenting the alleged harassment of her family members. Her breakdown drew widespread concern and empathy from fans and public figures alike.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, November 9, Dr. Rahman — a U.S.-trained medical doctor and mental health expert — expressed her deep concern for the young actress, admitting she has struggled to sleep due to Regina’s ordeal.
“She’s about my daughter’s age, yet already a woman. Yes, I can’t sleep. She’s been on my mind. A LOT,” she wrote, urging women to show compassion instead of judgment.
“They say she’s guilty of all accusations. Maybe so. Women, Regina is our child, our sister, our reflection. Regina is YOU. Regina is ME,” she concluded, reminding many that empathy remains the most powerful response to pain.
