Edo Gov Okpebholo, Top Officials Attend Thanksgiving Service for UBTH’s Prof. Ize-Iyamu

A special thanksgiving service was held in honor of Professor Idia Nibokun Ize-Iyamu, the Chief Medical Director of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), at the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Benin City. The ceremony was attended by prominent government officials, including:

During the service, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the husband of Prof. Ize-Iyamu, expressed gratitude to Governor Okpebholo for supporting her appointment as CMD of UBTH. Prof. Iyasen Dabor delivered a sermon titled “From Glory to Glory,” highlighting God’s blessings in Prof. Ize-Iyamu’s life and family.

Prof. Ize-Iyamu thanked God for her appointment as CMD of UBTH on August 7, 2025, and her earlier appointment as Dean of the School of Dentistry, UNIBEN, in the first half of 2025. The thanksgiving service was attended by family, friends, and associates who came to celebrate her achievement.
