Tragedy struck Gamboru Main Market in Maiduguri, Borno State, on Wednesday evening when a suspected Improvised Explosive Device (IED) detonated inside a mosque during Magrib prayers around 6:00 pm.
Sources said the mosque usually hosts large numbers of worshippers, including traders and market patrons, making the blast particularly alarming for residents.
