Explosion Rocks Mosque In Maiduguri During Magrib Prayers

Tragedy struck Gamboru Main Market in Maiduguri, Borno State, on Wednesday evening when a suspected Improvised Explosive Device (IED) detonated inside a mosque during Magrib prayers around 6:00 pm.

Sources said the mosque usually hosts large numbers of worshippers, including traders and market patrons, making the blast particularly alarming for residents. Our correspondent noted that Maiduguri had not experienced any bomb attack within the city recently, highlighting the shocking nature of the incident.
