Originally scheduled for a public presentation in Lagos on June 14, 2025, “Doing and Being,” written by Mrs. Gbesoye Debo-Olujimi, an executive director of Emadeb Energy Services Limited, will now be launched in Abuja on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Aso View Hall, Harrow Park, Wuse 2, Abuja, will host the event, which is powered by Made for Impact in partnership with Cerca Africa, at 3 p.m. The leitmotif of moving from merely “doing” life to actually “being” present in it is explored in the book’s ten chapters.
The book is both a memoir and a call to action—an exhortation to cease existing and begin living intentionally. “Doing and being” is a profoundly personal and spiritually rich work that provides clear insight to anyone seeking clarity about their mission,” the author says in his synoptical presentation.
