Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has ordered a full investigation into an alleged incident involving Fuji singer, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM 1), at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on August 5.
The order follows a petition from the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), which accused the singer of blocking a plane from taxiing after he was barred from boarding with a flask suspected to contain alcohol.
Police spokesperson, DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said the Commissioner of Police, Airport Command, has been directed to unravel the circumstances behind the incident and ensure justice is served. He added that the Force remains committed to aviation safety and strict compliance with aviation laws.
