Israel Hits Iran’s Two Largest Steel Factories As Tehran Warns Of ‘Heavy Price’

Tensions in the Middle East have intensified after Iran accused Israel of coordinated strikes on key Iranian infrastructure, including two major steel factories, a power plant, and civilian nuclear sites. Iran’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Seyed Abbas, warned on X that Tehran would respond decisively, saying the attacks “contradict POTUS extended deadline for diplomacy” and that Israel “will pay a heavy price for its crimes.”

The reported attacks come amid ongoing diplomatic efforts led by the United States. President Donald Trump recently announced a 10-day pause on potential strikes targeting Iran’s energy facilities to allow more time for negotiations, describing talks as “going very well” despite reports of escalating tensions.

While the U.S. emphasizes diplomacy, Israel has reportedly continued its strikes, claiming coordination with the U.S. The situation has raised fears of a regional escalation, as critical industrial and energy infrastructure in Iran comes under repeated attacks.

At the time of reporting, neither Israeli nor U.S. authorities have publicly confirmed or denied the specific claims, leaving the region on edge as Iran signals potential retaliation for the strikes.
