Law School Exclusion Triggers Tragic Loss of Yola Campus Student

New information has surfaced about the tragic death of Ayomiposi Ojajuni, a Nigerian Law School student at the Yola Campus, who passed away on Sunday morning.

According to emerging reports, Ayomiposi was prevented from sitting for his final bar examination on Saturday, December 6, after failing to respond to official queries issued by the institution. The development reportedly left him deeply distressed.

Sources familiar with the case revealed that one of the major issues raised in the queries was his failure to meet the mandatory class attendance requirement. He was said to have fallen short of the minimum 75 percent attendance threshold, which is a core condition for qualifying to sit for the final examinations.

Further accounts from people close to the situation indicate that after the list of eligible candidates was released and he discovered his name was missing, he became overwhelmed. He was later rushed to the Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital in Yola, where he was confirmed dead on Sunday morning.

This heartbreaking incident has sparked renewed conversations about student welfare, mental health support, and the emotional pressure faced by candidates in highly competitive academic environments.
