Lucky Ohimai: A Sore Loser Desperate to Tarnish The Integrity of Owan West PDP Chairman, But Arizona Stands Tall

By Newton Agbonluai

Owan west people are intelligent and capable of thinking for themselves; we reject violence and oppression. The people are not fooled by the desperate accusations from the APC, particularly from inexperienced politicians who lost their units. It’s time for Lucky Ohimai to stop throwing tantrums like a toddler and accept his defeat with dignity. If you’re truly a man, own up to your failure instead of resorting to cheap tactics and dirty money.

Owan West PDP Chairman, David Okoh-Aigbodion, aka Arizona is a man of integrity who not only defeated Lucky Ohimai a.k.a Tarex of the APC but also rejected a bribe of ₦5 million, showing his commitment to upholding democratic values. Ohimai, bitter from his loss, resorted to making baseless accusations and spreading misinformation to tarnish Arizona’s reputation. Even after insulting the good people of Owan West by offering ₦50,000 each to voters, in his unit, he was still humiliated at the polls.

It is no secret in Owan West that Lucky Ohimai, aka Tarex, has a notorious reputation for using thugs and intimidation to sway the political tide in his favor. He boasted about wanting to pick up the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt, Hon. Blessing Agbebaku, with police officers, believing he owns the Police. However, dirty money doesn’t move Owan people. His threats against Arizona during the election were not mere bluster; he openly boasted of his ability to use violence. In fact, Tarex sent thugs to attack Arizona’s son on the field, resulting in injuries to his stomach, and he was later taken to the hospital. When Tarex lost his unit, he resorted to framing Arizona to cover up his own failed tactics. The violence that occurred was reportedly orchestrated by his close associates, including his younger brother, Mr. Imouhuede Isaac Ohimai, aka Gala Man, and a band of thugs, some of whom include Reeton Alufokhai (aka Kilo), Udugwomeh Ohilebo, Pele Unangbaoje, Ejiro Samuel (aka Gadafi), Frank Ehimiyein (aka Pounpon), and Ohiosimuan Esemuze. These are the real culprits behind the chaos, not Arizona.

Furthermore, the APC, unable to confront their shame and lacking critical thinking, should ask themselves this: Why would Arizona, who clearly won his unit, take any electoral material to a family house where he doesn’t live and none of his relatives reside? The compound is unfenced and accessible to anyone, even stray goats, hence the low budget photoshoot Tarex and his minions did with the election materials to deceive his gullible followers.

Lucky Ohimai’s defeat has revealed his true colors as a sore loser, willing to disrupt the peace and integrity of Owan West and Oke to serve his selfish interests. His gang of hoodlums, led by his brother, were directly involved in the violence, shooting and ballot theft that left Oke Old indigenes scampering for safety. This has never happened in the history of Oke old before now. Arizona, on the other hand, stood firm in his principles, rejecting corrupt offers and staying true to the democratic process. The people of Edo state must see beyond the lies and recognize the true heroes of this election.

David Okoh-Aigbodion, Arizona, has been commended by the people of Owan West for his courage, integrity, and refusal to be swayed by corrupt politicians like Lucky Ohimai. Arizona represents the hope for a better future in Owan West and Edo State at large, a future where elections are free and fair, and the will of the people prevails over the antics of a few rotten eggs.
