Kano — Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to his political mentor, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, declaring that no adversary can create division between them or destabilize the Kwankwasiyya Movement.
The governor made the statement during a ceremony held at his Miller Road residence in Kano to mark Kwankwaso’s 69th birthday anniversary.
According to Yusuf, “No enemy, whether from outside or within, can come between us. They are liars. Our leader, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, myself, the NNPP government in the state, its officials, and all members of the Kwankwasiyya family remain united and strong, despite the evil plans of those who wish to see us divided.”
He described Senator Kwankwaso as a visionary and selfless leader who has dedicated his life to public service, adding that his leadership continues to inspire progress in Kano and across Nigeria.
“Senator Kwankwaso is a gifted and God-fearing leader with great foresight,” Yusuf said. “He loves the people of Kano State and indeed all Nigerians, and works tirelessly for their progress and development.”
The governor further pledged to continue steering his administration in line with the Kwankwasiyya ideology, which emphasizes service, accountability, empowerment, and integrity.
Earlier, Senator Kwankwaso, a two-term former governor of Kano State and leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), urged members of the NNPP and the Kwankwasiyya Movement across the country to remain united and focused on strengthening the party.
He expressed gratitude to NNPP National Chairman, Dr. Ajuji Ahmed, as well as other party leaders and loyalists from over 30 states who attended the celebration in Kano.
