FORMER Vice-President of Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), Bishop David Abioye, has unveiled the name and logo of his new church.
The unveiling happened seven months after his retirement from the Living Faith Church led by Bishop David Oyedepo.
The new church is named Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly, also known as Conquerors Global Assembly.
The name and logo were officially unveiled on Sunday, May 4, 2025, during the first morning service of “The Hour of Revival,” which previously held its services in the evening.
The change in schedule was announced during last Sunday’s evening gathering in Abuja, where the congregation erupted in praise, shouts, and applause in support of the ministry’s new direction.
A report by QED said that this development marked a significant shift for Abioye, who in October 2024 retired alongside Bishop Thomas Aremu following a new policy at Living Faith Church.
The policy set a mandatory retirement age of 55 for leadership positions. At the time, Abioye was 63 while Aremu was 67.
The updated structure also imposed a leadership tenure limit of one or two seven-year terms, subject to approval by the church’s Board of Trustees.
Despite stating at his retirement service that he had no intention of starting a new church after decades of loyalty to Bishop Oyedepo, Abioye appears to have embraced a fresh phase in ministry with the launch of Conquerors Global Assembly. QEDNG
