Paris 2024: Tobi Amusan Finishes 3rd, Crashes Out of 100m Hurdles

Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan has crashed out in the women’s 100m hurdles at the ongoing 2024 Olympic Games.

Amusan, who was one of Nigeria’s strong medal hopefuls in Paris 2024 finished third in the semi-final of the event.

The 27-year-old ran a disappointing 12.55s in the keenly contested race, Prompt News reports.

She also failed to get a spot as third best non-automatic qualified athlete.

USA’s Grace Stark and Devynne Charlton of Bahamas came second and third respectively.

The world record holder  made it to the final three years ago, but finished in fourth position.

Amusan  failed to make it to her second consecutive final.
