Paris Promoter Accuses Kizz Daniel of Collecting €80,000 Without Performing
A Paris-based event promoter has publicly accused Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel of failing to perform at a show in France despite allegedly collecting a huge performance fee.
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the visibly upset promoter claimed that Kizz Daniel was paid €80,000 (about ₦135 million) to perform but never showed up on stage. According to him, the singer also made a series of last-minute demands that complicated the event’s logistics.
He alleged that before leaving his hotel, Kizz Daniel demanded to be served seafood and refused to use the transportation provided for him, insisting instead on being chauffeured in a Rolls-Royce or Range Rover.
The promoter said the team had already gone above and beyond to accommodate the artist’s requests — including paying an additional €5,000 for his flight ticket after the main performance fee had been settled. Later, when Kizz Daniel reportedly missed his flight, the promoter claimed he asked for another €2,000, which was also paid.
“Kizz Daniel insisted on having seafood before heading to the venue and threatened to leave the hotel if his demand wasn’t met. Even after arranging a van, he refused to use it, saying he only moves in a Rolls-Royce or Range Rover,” the promoter recounted.
Despite all efforts, Kizz Daniel allegedly arrived in Paris late and still failed to perform at the event. The frustrated promoter has since gone online to demand an immediate refund.
“I’m asking everyone to urge him to return my money. He arrived late and didn’t perform after collecting €80,000. The refund must happen immediately,” he said.
