PDP Nasarawa Chairman Confident Party Will Rise Stronger After National Convention

In Nasarawa State, a renewed sense of hope is brewing within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The party’s chairman, Mr. Adamu Ninga, believes the upcoming national convention will not just be another gathering—it will be a turning point. Speaking after an expanded State Executive Council meeting in Lafia, Ninga said the convention is set to “rebuild unity and restore the PDP’s strength ahead of 2027.”

Slated for November 15–16 in Ibadan, Oyo State, the convention aims to elect new national officers and craft fresh strategies for the general elections. For Ninga, this moment represents more than internal politics—it’s a chance for rebirth. “We are more united and determined than ever to reclaim our rightful place in Nigerian politics, especially here in Nasarawa State,” he said with conviction.

He emphasized that the convention will be a space for reconciliation, one that allows party members to resolve internal disputes and rechart their course. Under his leadership, he promised fairness and inclusiveness, ensuring that every member—especially those seeking elective positions in 2027—will have an equal chance.

Ninga also announced a significant gesture towards gender inclusion: four delegate slots per local government have been reserved for women across Nasarawa’s 13 LGAs. He added that the state’s delegates will “conduct themselves with discipline and purpose” during the convention to elect capable leaders who can steer the party to victory.

For PDP supporters in Nasarawa and beyond, this is more than political optimism—it’s the beginning of a new chapter.
