“My dear Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo and Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, it is about 52 days ago, precisely on September 21, this year when you won squarely the hard-fought gubernatorial contest in our state on the ticket of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“As the journey to salvage our dear state from the incalculable depth of rot, setback and general lack of direction foisted on her in the last 8 years by the inglorious Obaseki regime effectively begins today, it is my earnest wish and profound prayers that your era will not only usher in the desired dividends of democracy for our people but would also serve as source of inspiration to subsequent administrations,” said Prof. Ihonvbere.

The Federal Lawmaker with capacity who is better known across the length and breadth of Owan Federal Constituency as ‘Mr. Projects,’ reiterated the confidence he has in the Okpebholo/Idahosa leadership when he said, “Your background as federal legislators of note is, to say the least, a glowing testament to the huge confidence I repose in your individual abilities to engender exceptional, practical and transformative leadership.

“I foresee a Renewed Hope in our dear state under your administration, and I do sincerely hope you will bring your wealth of experience to bear on your affirmed commitment to change the narratives of the Heartbeat State from its current lowly and hemorrhaging status to one of shared prosperity for all.

“On behalf of myself and the great people of Owan Federal Constituency, I wholeheartedly congratulate you on this very auspicious occasion of your historic inauguration, and I wish you well,” concluded the cerebral federal legislator with great flair whose people-centred legislative disposition and developmental strides since assumption of office have remained unparalleled in the annals of the Federal Constituency.
