Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has left fans deeply worried after breaking down in tears in a new emotional video, where she confessed she was “losing her mind” over ongoing family struggles. The actress, visibly shaken, shared the clip on her Instagram Story early Friday, saying she was mentally and emotionally exhausted.
Regina revealed that her parents — who recently reconciled after years of conflict — did so only to unite for her happiness and to help secure the release of her detained brother, Sammy West, who has allegedly been in police custody for days. “Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long,” she cried, vowing to personally “create a storm” if that’s what it takes to free him.
She further expressed her heartbreak and confusion, saying she felt trapped and helpless. “Every time I wake up, I hear good news — he’s about to be free. Then tomorrow, I hear another thing. What’s the problem? I’ve tried. I have to go back,” she said, suggesting she might return to her husband, Ned Nwoko, despite their past issues.
Regina’s emotional outburst didn’t end there. In a follow-up post, she accused the Nigerian police of corruption, claiming her brother’s arrest was linked to defending her from abuse. “Shame on you all! It’s obvious the highest bidder always wins,” she wrote. “Now I’m crippled! I will return if that’s the only way — get locked up and raped in the house — just so my brother returns.”
The revelations come weeks after Regina hinted at domestic violence in her marriage, an allegation Nwoko later denied, blaming her “drug and alcohol use.” As the situation unfolds, fans and colleagues continue to flood her page with messages of concern and support, urging her to stay strong and seek help.
