THE Executive Chairman of Hawul local Government Area in Borno State, Hon. Hussaini Malgwi has on Sunday joined thousands of Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid-al-Adha celebration at Azare town, the Council headquarter, where he felicitates with them for the peaceful and successful two Rakat Prayers.

In his Sallah Message soon after the Eid Prayers, Malgwi said, “as we celebrate this historic day of Eid al-adha, let us all use this opportunity to pray fervently for a blessed rainy season which we are approaching and also pray for peaceful coexistence in Hawul, Borno and Nigeria at large.

“The sacrifices you made in this period of celebration will not be in vein, as God (Allah) in his infinite Mercy will bless you and make you prosperous in your future endeavors.

“I want to also commend the good people of Hawul for their unflinching support not only to my administration, but by extension, to the present administration of Governor Babagana Zulum and his Deputy, Dr. Umar Kadafur.

“I want to also use this opportunity to call on well -to-do individuals to support the needy in the land, as government cannot do everything to better the lives of all and sundry”. Malgwi stated.

While leading the two Rakat Prayers, the Chief Imam of Azare, Malam Bashir Azare enjoined all Muslims to always live holy and shun any act that is contrary to the teaching of the Holy Quran.

He commended the Executive Chairman, Hon. Malgwi for his developmental stride which is devoid of any political, religious or ethnic considerations.
