Distinguished Senator Rowland Owie, former Senate Chief Whip and a highly respected Elder Statesman, has extended his congratulations to the newly inaugurated Governor of Edo State, Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo, and his Deputy, the Right Honorable Denis Idahosa. According to him, this landmark transition, represents a fresh chapter of hope and dedication to the citizens of Edo.
Senator Owie emphasized that with the elections now over, and political contestation laid to rest, it is time to focus on ethical leadership that transcends party lines. He urged the new administration to deliver on its campaign promises, and govern in a manner that benefits every Edolite, regardless of background or political affiliation. “The people of Edo deserve a leadership rooted in integrity, dedication, and compassion,” Senator Owie affirmed, adding that he believes Governor Okpebholo and Deputy Governor Idahosa embody these values.
