Aiwo Oyedele, Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, has called on Nigerians to file their annual tax returns, stressing that both employers and individuals must comply with the law.
Speaking at a webinar for HR managers, payroll officers, CFOs, and tax managers, Oyedele noted that many Nigerians remain non-compliant in submitting self-assessment returns. He emphasized that even when employers deduct taxes from salaries, employees are still required to file their own returns.
