The U-Turn: When Enemies Become Admirers, By Osazua IVBAZE

HAVE you ever experienced the thrill of being vindicated, of having those who once doubted or opposed you suddenly change their tune and sing your praises? This phenomenon is often referred to as a U-turn, and it’s a testament to the power of God’s redemption and restoration.

The Bible assures us that God is capable of turning even our greatest enemies into friends. In Proverbs 16:7, we find this remarkable promise:

“The Lord will make your enemies to be at peace with you.” (KJV)

This verse reminds us that God is always working behind the scenes, orchestrating events to bring about our good and His glory.

When we experience a U-turn, it’s often unexpected and dramatic. Suddenly, those who once criticized or belittled us are acknowledging our worth and singing our praises. This can be a truly surreal experience, leaving us wondering what triggered the change.

This is common in politics. This is an area where some of those
who wrote you off; ridiculed, scorned and mocked you during campaigns, make dramatic u-turns, once you are victorious in an election.

Some prefer to describe U- turn as attention seeking game for purposes of compensation.

Remember Bwala? He was with Atiku and worked for him during the last election.
Where is he now? With Tinubu and working for him as a Special Adviser.
That would never have happened if Atiku won the election.
Many Bwalas abound.
