Zamfara Support Group Donates to 2,000 Vulnerable Women

THE G-15, a political support group of Gov. Dauda Lawal’s administration in Zamfara, has donated essential items to 2,000 vulnerable women in Bungudu Local Government Area.

Led by Commissioner of Information and Culture, Mannir Haidara, the group visited the Emir of Bungudu’s palace to seek his blessings and advice on Sunday.

He said the donation, comprising clothes, food items, writing materials, and cash, aimed to alleviate the economic hardship faced by these women.

Haidara stated that the gesture aligned with Lawal’s administration’s rescue mission policy, focusing on extending democracy’s dividends to the masses.

He said that each beneficiary received a set of clothes and N5,000.

He added that the group had covered 10 out of 14 local government areas in the state.

Haidara appealed for continued prayers for Lawal’s administration to address security challenges.

Also speaking, the State Commissioner of Works and Infrastructure, Alhaji Lawal Barau, and Special Adviser to the governor on Political Matters, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar-Yari, commended the G-15’s initiatives.

The Emir of Bungudu, represented by Alhaji Kabiru Usman, praised the intervention, urging others to emulate the G-15’s kindness.
