…Felicitates with Muslim Ummah for successful Eid- El Fitr/Sallah

THE Executive Chairman of Hawul Local Government Area in Borno state, Hon. Hussaini Malgwi has praised Governor Babagana Zulum for supporting people at the grassroots with cash, assorted bags of rice, sugar and other condiments before, during and after the Ramadan Fasting.

He specifically said, the latest donation of 30 brand new motorcycles by Governor Zulum which were distributed to mostly some members of Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), local hunters and vigilantes in Hawul alone, is a significant step in boosting the fight against Boko Haram insurgency and other hibernating criminals.
These were contained in his Sallah message through a press statement issued to Journalists on Monday in Maiduguri, the state capital.
Malgwi said “the Ramadan gesture which is a routine tradition have impacted positively on the living condition of not only the Muslim Ummah, but to some other faithfuls, as the distribution were carried out in his Council transparently and judiciously devoid of political, religious or ethnic consideration”.
The Chairman then congratulated Governor Professor Zulum, his Deputy, Dr. Umar Kadafur, all Muslim faithfuls in Hawul Local Government Area and Borno state at large for the successful completion of this year’s fasting and Eid El- Fitr/Sallah celebrations.
” I called upon all and sundry, particularly the good citizens of Borno to continue give their maximum support and cooperation to the present administration under the leadership of a dynamic and committed Governor Zulum who has in the last six years provided dividends of democracy, especially witnessed in the area of education, security, health, agriculture, jobs creation, poverty Alleviation, youth/women empowerment, infrastructural development and too numerous to mention”.
He expressed his gratitude to the Almighty God for witnessing the Eid-el-fitr celebration urging all muslims to continue in the attitudes imbibed in the holy month and practice the virtues in showing compassion, love, kindness for peaceful coexistence as ordered and exemplified by the Holy prophet Muhammad (SAW).
“It is a time to pray and recommit ourselves to the quest of the salvation of our Local Governments, state, patriotism to our nation tolerance for one another irrespective of faith, tribe, party affiliation and other sentiments for unity of purpose and progress” the Chairman added.
Malgwi also urged the Muslim ummah to eschew bitterness in their daily endeavor as well as tolerate and accommodate each other for societal development, stressing that Muslims and Christians must unite and coexist in the interest of peace and nation building. End
