‘Katsina ba Korafi’ is a slogan created for Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa’s Political Movement way back in 2023 after the APC gubernatorial primary election in Katsina State, which Ahmed Dangiwa contested against Malam Dikko Umar Radda who eventually emerged winner.
The motive behind the slogan was to give assurances to the teaming APC party members in Katsina State and specifically the loyalists of candidate Ahmed Musa Dangiwa that, he (Dangiwa) has wholeheartedly accepted the outcome of the APC gubernatorial primary election and would give his maximum support to Mal. Dikko Umar Radda, the winner.
The idea behind the slogan ‘Katsina ba Korafi’ was to build, strengthen and maintain unity among the supporters of both Dikko Umar Radda and Ahmed Dangiwa, and by extension, the entire APC party members in Katsina state, that the party in the State is one, in peace, and has no complaint nor divided.
Dangiwa Movement which has Abdullahi Ahmed Gora as Director General, worked purposefully and tirelessly for the 2023 elections, and their efforts in the gubernatorial election fruitfully delivered APC’s Dr. Dikko Umar Radda as Governor of Katsina State.
It’s instructive for the public to note and understand that the much talked about mounted ‘Katsina ba Korafi’ billboard during the visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Katsina State last weekend, was specifically a promotional message and assurance to Mr. President that Katsina State APC was one, peaceful and with no complaint, against the erroneous interpretation to tell Mr. President that Katsina has no challenges.
The Dangiwa Movement shares in the passion and concerns of the Katsina State indigines for the development of the state, and is working closely with the people and government of the day at both federal and state level, with the view to addressing the demands and challenges being faced in the state.
