Benin City – Following a successful outing at the South-South Zonal Eliminations, Team Edo returned safely to Benin from Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State on Tuesday to kickstart the next phase of preparations for the 2025 National Youth Games (NYG), scheduled to take place in Asaba from August 26 to September 6, 2025.
An enlarged meeting was held on Wednesday with top officials of the Edo State Sports Commission, aimed at energizing and realigning the focus of all qualified teams.
The session served as a motivational boost for coaches, athletes, and support staff as they transition into a new camping phase ahead of the prestigious national competition.
