Popular Nigerian skit maker, Shank Comics, has publicly apologized after crashing a Mercedes-Benz belonging to renowned forex trader, HabbyFx, during a live stream. The incident, which went viral online, reportedly involved a Benz valued at over $100,000.
In a remorseful post shared on X, Shank expressed deep regret for his actions, admitting that reckless speeding led to the accident. He thanked God for sparing his life and acknowledged that there was no justification for his behavior, describing it as “stupid and careless.”
According to Shank, what touched him most was HabbyFx’s calm reaction after the crash. Despite the damage to his luxury car, the forex trader reportedly told Shank not to worry — a gesture the comedian described as rare and deeply humbling.
Shank went on to call the experience a “wake-up call” and a second chance from God. He said the ordeal made him realize the importance of mindfulness and gratitude, especially when life could have taken a tragic turn.
Ending his message, Shank apologized once again to HabbyFx, referring to the crash as an “unnecessary debit” and thanking God for saving his life. He wrote, “I woke up this morning knowing God gave me a second chance! Future bright die! I’m happy. Thank you Jesus. I’m nothing without you.”
