Popular American boxer Jake Paul was rushed to the hospital following his six-round defeat to former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in Miami. Paul reportedly suffered a suspected fractured jaw during the bout, with his promoter, Nakisa Bidarian, confirming that medical evaluation was necessary and recovery could take four to six weeks.
Despite the setback, Paul remained optimistic, sharing graphic images and videos on social media to highlight the physical toll of the fight. “I feel good. It was fun, and I genuinely love this sport,” he said, emphasizing his passion for boxing.
The 28-year-old YouTuber-turned-professional boxer intends to take a brief rest before resuming his career, aiming for a cruiserweight world title. Reflecting on the fight, Paul acknowledged fatigue as a key factor in the outcome but promised a comeback: “We’ll heal the jaw, come back stronger and fight opponents in my weight class. Anthony Joshua is a great champion. I lost, but that’s part of boxing. I’ll return and keep pushing forward.”
