Popular entertainers Timi Dakolo and Ugezu Ugezu have weighed in on a trending video of Pastor Funke Felix-Adejumo admonishing Christians for publicly shaming fellow believers who sin.
In the sermon, Pastor Funke recounted her experience on an American embassy committee, highlighting how other faiths, particularly Imams, do not expose members publicly. She said, “When a soldier is wounded, believers will be the first to expose… You even see pastors using the person to preach… How many Imams have been exposed the way we expose our own?”
While some Christians agreed with her stance on humility and restraint, Dakolo and Ugezu publicly disagreed, sparking widespread debate on accountability, privacy, and the ethics of public critique among believers.
Her comments elicited reactions online. Some Christians agreed with others, others like Ugezu and Timi Dakolo however disagreed.
