Edo Assembly Speaker Condemns alleged herdsmen attacks on some Farmers in Uhomora and Ozalla in Owan West Constituency

Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chief Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku the Aigbodekhe-Ini of Sobe Kingdom and Okawalele of Ozalla has condemned in strong terms the alleged herdsmen attacks on Some Farmers in Uhomora and Ozalla in Owan West Constituency last night.

In a Personal Message to the Farmers and Residents of the affected areas, the Rt Hon Chief Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku expressed sadness and anger over the attack on the Farmers who eke a living from the farmland, stressing that this attack is one too many on innocent farmers.

Rt Hon Blessing Agbebaku who is out of the state for an official assignment, emphasized that the message got to him this morning, calling for calm on the path of Indigenes and residents of Uhomora and Ozalla, maintaining that as soon as he returns he would ensure that justice prevails.

The Speaker assured all the victims of his intentions to pay the hospital bills, thanking God that no life was lost in the incident.

He called for calm advising all Indigenes and residents not to take laws into their hands as he intends to make good his promises of security of lives and property of the people in Owan West Constituency.
