Anthony Ehizojie Abumere II, along with the entire traditional institution of Ekpoma, has strongly condemned the recent killings in Efe block Ihumudumu and Eromon Ujemen Ekpoma attributed to kidnappers.This tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the community, prompting urgent calls for enhanced security measures.
In response to the rising tide of violence, the palace had previously established a security network across all villages within the Ekpoma Kingdom just few months ago. His Royal Majesty emphasizes the need for all security agencies to intensify their efforts in ensuring the safety and security of lives and properties in Ekpoma. He urges these agencies to collaborate effectively, conducting routine patrols in strategic areas of the local government as part of their duty to protect the community.
His Royal Majesty has also offered prayers for peace to reign in the land, invoking the protection of ancestors to safeguard Ekpoma from future occurrences of such insecurity.
