The Dangote Effect

In the last few decades, the Yuletide Season is often heralded with Christmas songs and cacophonies from PENGASSAN, NUPENG and clashing of angry and desperate citizens at petrol stations over fuel shortages. Now it is a few days to Christmas and yet there are no fuel queues and those powerful unions are leaving us at peace. There must be something special and effective that President Tinubu is doing in the oil sector. We are lucky to have Aliko Dangote as one of us. He has built on our soil the largest Petroleum refinery in the world. And it is working! The price of fuel is even coming down! This is the Dangote Effect! Now we can travel to the villages for yam festivals and Christmas and not worry about fuel scarcity. We only need to contend with bad roads, kidnappers and sundry criminals.
